The Bourke Ewes have moved into 3rd place in the competition ladder after defeating Coonamble 20-10 at Coonamble on Saturday.

The Bourke Ewes took on the Coonamble Rams on Saturday for Round 12 and the last away game of the season.

The Ewes kicked off and demonstrated some great defence against Coonamble’s strong attack.

After a few sets, Dani Bona kicked through the line, then dived on the ball to score the first try.

Unfortunately, Dani injured her knee in the try and was out on the bench for the remainder of the match.

Jodie Sontag followed up with an intercept at the end of the quarter but was caught just short of the try line. The score 5-0 to the Ewes. […]
