DOBBY returns to Brewarrina with powerful river story

Acclaimed rapper, drummer, and storyteller Rhyan Clapham, aka DOBBY, has brought his music back to Country, performing in Brewarrina as part of a state-wide tour.
For DOBBY, whose mother hails from Brewarrina, the return was deeply personal. “That’s where my mob’s from,” he said.
“My grandmother was born and raised there and grew up between Brewarrina and the South Coast. So, it was special to bring the project home.”
The tour featured both a concerts and songwriting workshop, giving keen local artists the chance to participate in the music-making. “It was fantastic,” DOBBY said.
