At Bourke High School, the message is clear – phones off, conversations on.
The shift is already being felt across the school, where the usual buzz of notifications has been replaced by something far less digital following the introduction of a new mobile phone policy.
The school is already seeing a shift in student behaviour and classroom engagement with Bourke High School Principal Trent Graham saying the early signs are encouraging.
