Dedication delivers grand final win for Nyngan Tigers

The Western Premiership reserve grade rugby league grand final has been played and won, with the Nyngan Tigers bringing home the trophy after one of the most exciting games on record.
Nyngan Club spokesperson Trev Waterhouse said the players came onto the field with a winning mindset and stayed tough from the opening whistle to the final siren, with a 16-8 victory for the Tigers.
“There was a huge crowd at Apex Oval to watch the Tigers take on the Dubbo Macquarie Raiders and spectators came from across the region– there was black and gold everywhere and that played a big part in their win,” Trev said.
“For captain-coach Troy Evans it was a fitting reward. He’s put a heap of work in, led by example and had a really big game and he had plenty of mates with him out on the field as well. There wasn’t a bad player among them, they gave their all. […]
