Deborah fights for outback kids


Deborah Nielsen has spent a lifetime as an active member of the Louth and Wanaaring communities.
Deborah’s passion is education, particularly the educational needs of isolated and disadvantaged children.
As President of the Louth Branch of the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association (ICPA) for 22 years, Deborah has lobbied for better access to education for kids in the bush.
She joined the State Council of the ICPA in 2014 and apart from when she stepped away for two years, Deborah maintained her position on the State Council until she retired from the role at the 2022 ICPA Conference held in Bourke.[…]
