CWA activates disaster relief for affected communities

The Country Women’s Association of NSW has announced the activation of its Disaster Relief Fund to support communities across the state facing the impacts of devastating floods and ongoing drought conditions.

Up to $500,000 has been initially earmarked for flood recovery efforts, and up to $250,000 has been allocated to support those affected by drought.

In areas affected by severe flooding, particularly on the Mid North Coast and in the Hunter region, CWA assistance will be delivered through local branches, enabling timely, community-led distribution of essential support such as vouchers and goods. […]
