Cricket legends tour the Outback for Angel Flight

Two legendary cricket commentators of the current era had a welcome change from the Ashes Test tour this week, making a trip to the Outback to raise funds for a worthy cause.
Jim Maxwell and Jonathon ‘Aggers’ Agnew are the voices behind the microphone on ABC radio, and they were both at Shindy’s Inn at Louth on Friday in support of Angel Flight. Jim and Jonathon told some ripper cricket yarns and took part in fundraising activities with an enthusiastic crowd.
It was the first time the two had ventured this far into the Outback – and they thoroughly enjoyed the change of scenery – their “Ashes Angel Flight Tour” had previously taken them to Orange, Moree, and Lightning Ridge. […]
