Countdown is on for Back O’Bourke Rodeo

The excitement is building as the clock ticks down to the Back O Bourke Stampede - Peter Simmonds Memorial Rodeo, on October 11, 2025. Volunteers have been working hard to make sure that the facilities at the J B Renshaw Oval are spick and span; the grounds are at their best and everything is in readiness for one of the biggest events on the Bourke calendar.

Committee spokesperson Mel Milgate said this year’s event was likely to be bigger and better than the last Stampede, which was held in 2023.

“Gates open at 3pm on October 11, giving  everyone plenty of time to get their weekend chores done and then head to Renshaw grounds for the big event,” Mel said. …
