Construction tender now open for Four Mile Reserve redevelopment

Brewarrina Shire Council’s extensive $1.5 million makeover project for the Four Mile Reserve has moved into the next phase with requests for tender now issued for construction.

The aspiring development is set to renew the popular riverside camping and recreation site for locals and visitors alike, with new facilities, landscaping and improved access to the river.

Brewarrina Shire Council General Manager David Kirby said the makeover will transform the much-loved space into a modern and vibrant place for all to enjoy and use.

“I am very pleased we are now moving into crunch time for this exciting revitalisation, Mr Kirby said.

“Four Mile has long been a favourite spot for the local community and travellers to enjoy our beautiful river, fish, camp, boat and more. […]
