Congratulations Jack Wielinga!

Jack Weilinga was recognised last Friday at the Bourke Shire Council Depot with a Certificate of 40 Years of Service, celebrated with a BBQ lunch attended by Bourke Shire Deputy Mayor Sally Davis, councillors, managers and council staff.

Jack began work with Bourke Shire Council on 17 March 1986 as a labourer before moving into the roads department, where he has spent decades contributing to the Bourke Shire’s road network. During his time with council, Jack has witnessed major milestones including the sealing of roads that he couldn’t imagine would ever be sealed. […]
