Community spirit shines at welcome night

Brewarrina Shire Council, community members and service providers came together at the Brewarrina Visitor Information Centre on Wednesday 25 February for the annual ‘Welcome to Bre’ New Resident and Community Event, to connect, share stories and celebrate life in Brewarrina.

General Manager David Kirby said the strong turnout reflected the value of the event in helping new residents settle into the community.

“Our Welcome to Brewarrina event is always a highlight for me,” Mr Kirby said. “It showcases how great our little community is and recognises the many different journeys that bring people here.
