Bourke Aboriginal Corporation Health Service (BACHS) has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Justine Williams as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, bringing more than 15 years of experience in the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) sector to the role.
A proud Ngemba woman, Ms Williams steps into the position with a strong grounding in lived experience, cultural responsibility and community advocacy.
Her career has been shaped by a commitment to improving access to culturally safe, community-led health and wellbeing services, and to building trusted relationships across the sector.
In her new role, Ms Williams will support the executive leadership of BACHS and play a key part in organisational planning, workforce development and service delivery aligned with local community priorities.
