Colly Cod Classic and Carp Muster – Tik Mara pulls in longest cod at Colly Classic
The fish didn’t stand a chance at the Colly Cod Classic and Carp Muster with a record number of anglers trying their luck in the Barwon River.
President of the Collarenebri Water Sports and Fishing Club Jasen Ramien said it had been a “cracking weekend” on the Barwon around Collarenebri.
“We had 433 anglers registered, which broke our previous record by about 102 anglers,” Jasen said.
“It was a great weekend weather wise and there were plenty of prize winners for the fishing as well as our continuous raffle where the top prize was a boat and motor on a trailer.”
“We were also able to dispose of a lot of carp out of the river as well,” Jasen said
“It was a huge weekend, and we really want to thank everyone that got involved and also our fantastic sponsors.” […]
