Claude’s drive to support victims of sexual abuse

Claude Harvey, famously known as ‘The Mower Man on the Gold Coast to Sydney and everywhere in between,’ has been spotted fundraising for Bravehearts outside the local IGA.

Claude spends his time fundraising for Bravehearts, a charity dedicated to helping sexually abused children.

The next day, Claude’s journey took him to Collarenebri where Mayor of Walgett Shire, Councillor Jasen Ramien met with Claude outside a local shop. Touched by Claude’s dedication and determination, Councillor Ramien invited him to the Tattersalls pub, where he was given complimentary accommodation and a meal.

Councillor Ramien introduced Claude to the patrons, passionately encouraging them to support the Bravehearts organisation.

“It’s community leaders and everyday folks coming together that really make a difference,” Claude remarked, grateful for the support.

His connection with Bravehearts began in 2008 after he watched a contestant on ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ donate $30,000 of his winnings to the organisation. […]
