Classic Pairs to honour the late Jim Rice

The Bourke Bowling Club is holding its 40th Classic Pairs this long weekend as a memorial to long serving director and treasurer, Jim Rice.
Jim, who passed away in March this year, ran the books at the Bourke Bowling Club for many years and was dedicated to helping the club in any way possible.
The 40th anniversary Classic Pairs has $20,000 in the prize pool, including $8,000 for first prize.
The competition is restricted to 24 teams and consists of 5 games, 12 ends, 2x2x2x2 pairs sectional play, then quarter, semi and final post sectional.
The top eight teams will play off for the title of Bourke Classic Pairs, while the 9th to 16th teams will play off for the Consolation Pairs.
Spectators are welcome and it’s a 9am start each day this Saturday and Sunday 8th and 9th June 2024.
