Women across Outback New South Wales are being encouraged to have a breast examination as the BreastScreen vans travel to various locations across the Outback.

BreastScreen NSW is committed to supporting the early detection of breast cancer and provides free screenings for women.

All BreastScreen NSW radiographers are female and use state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the highest quality mammograms with minimal radiation.

The BreastScreen van will be available to women in Bourke at the Bourke Aboriginal Corporation Health Servic for two weeks from today (22 February). […]


The BreastScreen NSW van will be at the following locations.

• Bourke Aboriginal Health Service from February 22 until March 6.

• Brewarrina Hospital (rear car park) from March 8 to March 11.

• Lightning Ridge Bowling Club from May 14 to May 28.

• Walgett Hospital from June 6 to June 13.
