Charlotte is off to the Sydney Royal Easter Show

Local teacher Charlotte McGrory is set to shine as Bourke’s ambassador at Sydney’s Royal Easter Show in in March.

After a win in the zone final of the Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman competition at Narromine last weekend, Charlotte will head to the popular Easter Show along with Wellington’s Eliza Whiteley and Paris Capell from Orange, who will all represent Zone Six.

“There were 18 other girls from the zone at Narromine, all representing their towns,” Charlotte said.

“We had an interview with the three judges that lasted about 15 minutes, and we also had a luncheon with all the girls and the judges.

‘We had our formal evening dinner where we also got up on stage and spoke for about three minutes about some areas that we were passionate about.”

Charlotte’s journey to the Royal Sydney Easter Show has not been without its preparation. She was announced as the Bourke Young Woman for 2023 at last year’s Bourke Show in May. […]
