Brewarrina’s Barwon & District Carnival a huge success

The Brewarrina Clay Target Club held a hugely successful two-day Barwon & District Carnival on the weekend – Friday, Saturday and Sunday 2nd, 3rd, and 4th May.

Excellent shooter numbers made for a very successful weekend, kicking off on Friday night with the inaugural kicking off on Friday Night with the inaugural Deauville Doubles competition in memory of late member Glenn Codrington who sadly passed away last year. As it turned out, Glenn’s Grandson Alex and great mate Dusty Hone came away with the win.

The weather turned it on for the remaining two days of competition on Saturday and Sunday.

Over 60 shooters travelled from as far away as Bendigo, Walcha, Cunnamulla, Orange, Bathurst, Moree, Tambo, Warren, Cobar, Guyra and Narrabri. […]
