Brewarrina Officer winsdomestic violence award

A police officer from Brewarrina has won a state award at the 2020 NSW Police Force Domestic Violence Practitioner of the Year.

Senior Constable Nicole Pitt was awarded the title at a ceremony last Thursday 10 December, while Senior Constable Jessica Pank of Bourke was ranked in the top three finalists.

Senior Constable Pitt has been stationed at Brewarrina for the past two years, focussing on connecting with disadvantaged youth, specifically young girls, to address remote area issues.
