Bre, Latrell and the Bulls star in Bucking Bull Bonanza

It was hard to pick the star of the show at the Brewarrina Bucking Bulls Bonanza at the weekend.
Rabbitohs fullback Latrell Mitchell was a big hit with the footy fans and the local kids, but he had stiff competition from some awe-inspiring bulls and fearless riders.
But it was the Bre community that was the outright winner, hosting another spectacular event on Saturday which drew crowds of spectators and competitors from across the region.
Hosted by the Brewarrina Shire Council and the Bre RSL, the Bre Bucking Bull Bonanza was the first of its kind in Bre, but definitely not the last.
President of Bucking Bulls Australia Nick Groz was thrilled at the result and said the organisation had already been asked if they would return next year.
“It was a huge success, and the crowd was amazing,” Nick said.
“Everyone had a good time; they left their troubles at home and they came to party.
“The bull riding started around 12 o’clock and by the time the big guys started around 2pm, everyone was glued to their seats.
“It was great having Latrell there – he got in amongst the action and got involved with the local kids who were so excited to see him.[…]
