Bre community has say on main street upgrade


Members of the Brewarrina community had the opportunity to have their say on what they want included in the town’s re-vamped main street.

Last week, Brewarrina Shire Council held several consultations with the architects engaged by council to shape the future development of the main CBD.

These interactive sessions allowed residents, business owners, and other stakeholders to voice their opinions, concerns, and aspirations for the project.

Brewarrina Shire Council General Manager, David Kirby, said the collaborative approach had yielded promising results, showcasing the power of community engagement in town planning.

“The plan will be led by world-renowned architectural firm Hassall, and the consultations provided a platform for open dialogue and meaningful discussions on various aspects of the redevelopment plan,” he said. […]
