The 2025 bowls season is a wrap!

On Sunday, Dale Barker and Mandy Rice won the Mixed Pairs event for 2025 defeating John Mussig and Fiona Rankmore 23-13.

Dale was over the moon, saying that this was the sixth occasion that he had won the Mixed Pairs at Bourke.

On the other hand, Mandy smiled and said this was her first win in the Bourke annual club championships.

There is now just one major final left to be played before the season is over.

The Pennant season begins in early February, and there is a nomination sheet on the board for all those interested bowlers.

Tomorrow (Friday 19 December) we will have Christmas Bowls kicking off at 6:30pm. A Major Prize of $500 will be up for grabs as well as six half hams. Nominations are $10 per person and can be taken at the Bar.

Thank you to players and supporters for the very successful 2025 season of bowls! Merry Christmas to all members and a safe and happy New Year.
