Bourke Amateur Swimming Club
The Bourke Amateur Swimming Club’s season wrapped up last Thursday night with a swim night and a presentation for the swimmers.
President of the Bourke Amateur Swimming Club Harmony Starchild said that, on behalf of the committee, she thanked everyone for all their support during the year.
“The families, parents, people who assisted in setting up, packing away, time keeping and marshalling were fabulous,” Harmony said.
“Without the assistance of these helpers our club nights wouldn’t run as smoothly as they have all summer.
Harmony also thanked all the kids, saying that their enthusiasm each week had been truly inspirational.
“The progress seen in each of the swimmers has been amazing to witness – they should truly be so very proud of themselves,” she said. “I know I am.” […]
