A quiet achiever with a big heart, Bourke High School student Adrian Gersbach has been named the 2025 Clontarf Academy Award winner, recognised for his commitment to school, community and the values that underpin the Clontarf program.

The announcement was made live on Outback Radio 2WEB Radio on Tuesday, where Adrian was joined by Bourke Clontarf Operations Officer Patrick ‘Patto’ Edwards and Detective Inspector Paul Quigg, who returned to Bourke to present the award.

Detective Inspector Quigg, who helped establish the Bush to Posts program linking Clontarf and NSW Police, said returning to Bourke to present the award was always special.

“I love coming back here. I love my time here, I loved the community and seeing all the people,” he said. “But my special reason for coming back this time was to present the Clontarf Award winner for 2025.” […]
