Bourke Public School students and staff have their dancing shoes on for next Tuesday’s Dancing through the Decades performance night.

Principal, Margaret Gordon-Poole said weeks of practising was about to come to fruition as the excited student cohort prepare to step on stage.

“We haven’t had a performance night created by the school since around 2019,” Ms Gordon-Poole said. “Due to Covid and other reasons, it just hasn’t happened, so we thought it was time to bring it back.”

“We decided on the dancing through the decades theme and all the classes got to choose their own era and songs which they loved.” […]
