Bourke High celebrates Year 12 graduates

Five Bourke High School students have marked the end of their secondary schooling, with the school and wider community celebrating the Year 12 graduating class of 2026.

Taylah Barker, Nicholas (Nico) Bates, Shannon Bates, Archie Scanlon and Rasheda Smith officially graduated following a busy and memorable final week that combined celebration, fun, and a few final opportunities to spend time together as a cohort.

The week began on Tuesday with lunch at the Back O’Bourke Exhibition Centre, followed by a Jandra cruise on Wednesday, when the students embraced the occasion by dressing as “older people”.[…]
