Bourke Ewes get first victory for 2023

The Bourke Ewes took on the Cobar Bactrians in a curtain-raiser at Davidson Oval on Easter Saturday and came away with a great win.

The Ewes were in top form and ran away with the game by 11 tries to 1.

Ewes Publicity Officer Ella Henson said here was some fantastic rugby on display from both teams.

“We appreciate the Cobar women travelling to Bourke to promote women in rugby and we also thank them for their sportsmanship throughout the day,” Ella said.
