Congratulations go to 14-year-old Bourke boy Harrison Simmons who is showing lots of promises in the boxing ring.

Harrison is the son of JR Simmons and Aimee Sutton of Bourke and a grandson of Johnno Sutton and Tanya Nean, also of Bourke.

Training under his coach, Chris Hallford, from Fighting Arts in Dubbo for the past three years Harrison is showing he has the stuff to become a good boxer.

He has competed in two boxing matches so far, with a win in Sydney on 17th December and another win at Gunnedah last weekend.

Harrison has several events lined up including a match in Sydney on Saturday 18th March, at the Cobar fight night on Saturday 1st April and at the Dubbo ‘Thunder Down Under’ fight night on Saturday 6th May.

We all wish Harrison the best in his boxing journey.
