Bourke bowlers raise dollars for Blue Robinson Foundation

This year’s ‘A Day’ Bowls tournament was not only a chance for bowlers to have an enjoyable day on the greens – it was also a significant fundraiser for the Blue Robinson Foundation.

Last week, Bourke Bowling Club General Manager Jarryd Samuelsson and ‘A Day’ Bowls Secretary Victor Bartley had the pleasure of presenting a cheque for $2,040 to Blue Robinson Foundation representative Susanne Hand.

“The purpose of the ‘A Day’ Bowls tournament is to have Indigenous and non-Indigenous people having a fun day of bowls by playing together, not against each other and to raise funds for worthy causes within our community,” Victor said.
