The heavyweight showdown was at Nyngan on Saturday in a close match between the Bogan Bulls and the Walgett Rams.
The Bogan Bulls claimed bragging rights in the blockbuster top-of-the-table clash, edging out the Walgett Rams 15-14 in a finals-quality contest.
With both sides entering undefeated, the encounter delivered on expectations, featuring high intensity, strong defence and quality execution from both teams.
Walgett held a narrow lead inside the final 10 minutes before an intercept try to the Bulls swung momentum back in favour of the home side. In a tense finish, neither team could land the decisive blow.
