Essential supplies have been transported 900 kilometres from Sydney to reach the isolated community of Weilmoringle, experiencing the full force of the cost-of-living

Bill Crews of the Bill Crews Foundation has responded to an appeal for urgent assistance, landing in Bourke on Thursday before driving out to Weilmoringle to deliver donated food, toiletries, clothing and other essential items to the 100 people living in the town – an hour and a half from the nearest grocery store. 

Reverend Bill Crewes is familiar with the face of hardship and is always willing to step in and provide direct action. He said the people of Weilmoringle felt a ‘real sense of abandonment’. […]
