Big crowd for Bourke Baby Expo

The third Baby Expo returned to Bourke last Thursday after a break in 2024.
Connected Beginnings Project Director Tanya Mitchell said that this year’s event – held at the Full Gospel Family Fellowship Church in Bourke – was a massive success with 53 people registering but over 100 attending the event.
The day featured an acknowledgement and welcome ceremony performed by the children from the Bourke and District Children’s Services pre-school.
There was also food and giveaways for those that attended.
Guest speakers on the day included Skye Stewart from Red Nose Australia raising awareness of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and safe sleeping.
