Una Taylor and Ben Nott both completed their 100th parkrun on Saturday at the Bourke Racecourse parkrun.

Una’s parkrun adventure began at the Burley Griffin course in October 2016, and she has since completed 78 parkruns in Bourke and 12 at other locations in NSW, the ACT, Queensland, and Victoria.

Una has also volunteered 34 times and is currently the co-Event Director of the Bourke Racecourse parkrun.

When asked why Una loves parkrun her reply was “I like that it’s for everyone – it doesn’t matter if you’re fast, slow, young, or old you’re still welcome. I also love the coffee afterwards!”

Una’s mate, Ben Nott also completed his 100th parkrun on Saturday

Ben started parkrun back in 2018 and say he loves parkrun because “you can just turn up and run.

“It’s not a race against anyone, just you and the clock,” Ben said.

Ben has also volunteered 13 times - always as tail walker, so he can notch up a parkrun as well as add to his volunteer tally.
