Beautiful new white picket fence for North Bourke Oval

The North Bourke Oval has received a huge facelift with the installation of a new white picket fence surrounding the oval and the social and canteen area.

Bourke Shire Council employed contactors to build the new fence after receiving Commonwealth funding of $150,000 under the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program,

Bourke Shire Council General Manager Leonie Brown said that construction of the fence followed community consultation undertaken by Council where the fence around the Oval was identified as a priority. […]
