Artist-led merch drop at Yellowbelly

Yellowbelly, the band, studio, barbershop and café has a new merch drop.

Kobie Lollback, a Bundjalung man who lives in Bourke, explains the new merch designs are about their culture. “Yellowbelly is the totem of Stephen, Alex, Jamal and Ern.”

Local Ngemba man Ernest Elwood, has embedded his art in the designs, which they design and print in-house. Ernest explains that the artwork “represents us at Yellowbelly and the people connected to it”. An accomplished artist who has been painting for over 10 years, he also does the digital art for the designs. The art represents the meeting place they have created. […]
