“All That You Need” to be released this week

Bourke High School student band, “28 On-Top”, has collaborated with Desert Pea Media to create new music and an accompanying video which will have its official on-line launch in Bourke during NAIDOC Week.
The Indigenous student collective from Bourke High School, has also worked this year with original members of Bourke’s groundbreaking hip hop group “B-Town Warriors” who came to fame after a similar series of Desert Pea Media projects in Bourke dating back to 2016.
The result of the latest project is the moving song and video “All that you Need,” which is described as finding “beauty in the stillness” and learns “from the past to create a new tomorrow.”
In 2023/24, Desert Pea Media delivered the “Crossroads” project in Bourke and Moree to build community foundations, a cultural legacy and creative employment opportunities. The 12-month project included songwriting, storytelling and digital media, skills development, and cultural education. […]
