In an era where timely medical assistance can make all the difference AirMed plays a critical role in the health and wellbeing of remote communities in the far west and across regional NSW.
AirMed, owned by Australian-owned Aviation Logistics, operates several crucial aviation services including AirMed Australia, GroundMed, and our regional airline Air Link.
AirMed’s operations are dedicated to transporting patients across the country, especially to and from larger cities where specialised medical care is readily available.
A recent flight operated for AirMed by Air Link illustrated the critical role the company plays in patient transport.
A King Air 200, under the command of Brisbane-based Air Link pilot Kelby Cheyne, touched-down in Bourke last Thursday evening, delivering an elderly resident back home after receiving treatment in Sydney.
The flight highlights not just the efficiency of the aviation logistics team but also their commitment to serving remote communities where medical care might be scarce.
