A warm welcome for Bourke’s new residents

Bourke put out the welcome mat to its new residents last week, with the annual ‘Welcome to Bourke’ event held at the Back O’Bourke Exhibition Centre.

It was the community’s chance to show just what a diverse and engaging destination the town can be for those who have chosen to call it home.

The event was held at the revamped Exhibition Centre conference area, a fitting setting to showcase the beauty of the Darling River, the excellence of the centre itself and the warm and welcoming nature of Bourke people.
