Lightning Ridge Central School

The Lightning Ridge Central School hosted its Presentation Day on Wednesday 13 December, celebrating the achievements of its students in over 35 award categories.

It was standing room only as Principal Richard Finter opened the event, setting the tone for a morning filled with pride and excitement.

He emphasised the exceptional attributes of the award winners, ranging from determination and resilience to positivity and respect.

The students, he noted, were not just academically inclined but also excelled in sports, the arts, and community involvement.

Their hard work, organisation, and responsibility were commendable and instrumental in their success.

The event was made even more special by the children’s exemplary behaviour. Their attention and respect were unwavering throughout the ceremony, showcasing the school’s effective guidance in nurturing well-mannered and disciplined students.[…]
