2WEB to broadcast Bourke Hot Nines

Outback Radio 2WEB will broadcast the Bourke Hot Nines rugby league competition to be played at Bourke’s Davidson Oval on Saturday 9th November.

The games will also be livestreamed this year thanks to Tara Stanley and the 2WEB commentary will be linked over the online games as well.

This is the third year of the Bourke Hot Nines – and is the last opportunity to play competitive rugby league before e summer.

The Bourke Hot Nines is an annual competition with nine players per side playing a round robin before the knockout finals – and the competition is building each year.

So far eight men’s teams have nominated plus up to six women’s teams.

Organiser Josh Toole said he is expecting some very exciting football.

“It’s going to be a cracker of a day with some unreal football, and a canteen will be running all day” Josh said.

“We expect a big turnout of players and supporters again this year and we have brought it forward this year to try to avoid the heat if we can. […]
