Storyteller returns to Bourke

Local historian, teacher, storyteller and all-round good bloke, Dr Paul Roe was back in his old stomping ground last week – telling a few yarns.
Dr Roe was here to train Back O’Bourke Exhibition Centre staff in the art of storytelling, and to tell the many incredible stories of Bourke and beyond.
Paul has a gift of bringing these stories to life, touching the soul of the listener, and challenging others to think about their own story.
Paul says we need to keep the old stories alive, but that everyone has a story that can be shared.
“In order to know who you are, you need to know where you came from, where you are now, and where you are headed.
