Wow! What a great turnout for our first game of the season.
We had the most Junior Rams we have ever had at one of our home games, which is very exciting. It was also nice to see so many people stay on to show support for the senior Rams teams as they took on Walgett. The Walgett Juniors aren’t travelling at the moment, so it was a Bourke vs Bourke game.
Fortunately, the increased number of players this year meant we had enough to run three separate games - 6’s, 8’s and 12’s. There was plenty of action all round and everyone seemed to enjoy being back on the field. The kids are to be commended for the way they conducted themselves. They listened to instruction from the coaches and stepped back to allow their team mates to have a go when asked.
