Darling River Golf Club – golfers enjoy a day on the fairway

It’s hard to keep a golfer down, and that was certainly the case this weekend when eleven of Bourke’s most dedicated golf enthusiasts were finally able to have a hit-out on the course.
The Darling River Golf Club, like most other clubs across the state, has been under restrictions because of COVID-19 concerns and competition had halted, but at the weekend the golfers were at able to enjoy a welcome social round.
Vice President of the Darling River Golf Club Tony Norman said it was wonderful being able to dust off the four irons again.
“I didn’t play too well but it was a good bit of fun,” Tony said.
