Police appeal after firearms stolen near Bourke

Police have released images of two men who may be able to assist with an investigation into firearms that were stolen from a home on a property west of Bourke in March
Nine firearms were reported as being stolen from Goonery Station – about 90 kilometres from Bourke on the Bourke to Wanaaring Road.
Police believe the firearms were stolen from a gun safe in the station homestead sometime between Tuesday 10 March and Friday 13 March 2020. The firearms included a side by side double barrel shotgun, seven rifles and a single barrel shotgun.
Officers attached to Central North Police District have visited Goonery Station and commenced an investigation.
Detectives have released computer generated images of two men who were seen in the area at the time of the offence, who may be able to assist with police inquiries.
The first man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with brown hair and brown eyes. The second man is described as being of Caucasian appearance with light brown hair and brown eyes.
