Coronavirus won’t stop us

Rapid Relief Team brings fodder to graziers. Despite the recent rain, the drought is not over, and neither is the struggle to stay on the land.

With that in mind, the Rapid Relief Team was in Bourke last week bringing fodder and goodwill to landholders.

Ron Arkcoll is Managing Director of the Rapid relief Team, the charity arm of the Plymouth Brethren Church and he led a team of volunteers from across the state to distribute the sheep pellets to graziers in Bourke, Brewarrina and Walgett Shires.

“Part of the RRT’s effort to support farmers doing it tough over the extended period of the drought is our Farmers, Community, Connect program and to date we have done ten events,” Ron said.
