Paul does the heavy lifting for Bourke High School

What might have been a long, arduous truck driving job was a chance to reconnect with old friends when Paul Primmer was called in to deliver new classrooms to Bourke High School late last year.

Paul runs a business based in Newcastle – Demountable Transport Solutions – and when the high school acquired two new buildings, it contracted Paul’s company to do the job. For Paul, who now lives in Taree, it meant a welcome trip back to his hometown.

“I was born in Bourke,” Paul said.

“So, it was great to get back here. I lived here until I was 18, went to the primary school and the high school so it was really good being able to deliver the buildings to my old stamping ground!”
