Bourke & District Cricket Club

In round 5 of the competition Colts played Louth at Bourke and Two Waterholes travelled to fords Bridge to take on the local side.

Louth defeat Colts by two wickets

Louth decided to bat first after winning the toss at Davidson Oval.

Simon Smith was judged lbw to Chad Taylor for a duck with the score on 3. Then Mitch Sheffield and Dan Angel added 51 runs before Mitch was caught by Willie Orcher off Blaine Knight for 45. Dan followed soon after when he was caught by Jeremy Thurston off Blaine for 11. Michael Parker was next to go, bowled by David O’Sullivan for 2. Richard Ridge could only muster 11 runs before been given out lbw to David. Callum Johnson made 9 until he was caught by Adam McLean off Lane Brown. Clinton Edwards had Will Mitchell caught by Chad Taylor for 13. Blaine Knight chipped in with the wicket of Ed Wylie, caught by David O’Sullivan for 27. Scott Mitchell was bowled by Blaine for 2. Will Murray was the final wicket to fall for Louth when he was bowled by Clinton Edwards for 5.
