Garfield ramps up business at Bourke

The drought may be putting the brakes on business, but that hasn’t deterred local mechanic Scott Parry (Garfield) from opening his own business - and putting his faith in his customers and the community.

Garfield is well-known around the Bourke district as the go-to mechanic for repairs to machinery and trucks and decided it was time to back himself and set up a fully functioning business and workshop.

He purchased the former McGregor’s Diesel shed near the airport at North Bourke from Sam Maroulis, and is now open for business as Garf’s Mechanical Services.
