The Annual Hungerford Sports Association Horse & Motorbike Gymkhana & Enduro was a huge success, with travellers from across NSW and Queensland making the trek to grab some of the action over the long weekend.

The event was the 60th continuously running Hungerford Gymkhana, kicking off on Friday night with Doug’s traditional camp oven dinner at the Royal Mail Hotel. The events program got underway early on Saturday with this year’s prize pool totalling $10,000.

The Enduro is a community event with just about everyone in Hungerford pitching in and this year, the organising committee thanked the volunteers, spectators and competitors for making the weekend such a success, and a chance to catch up with old friends, make new ones and get a taste of the outback’s red dirt.
