Cyclists are ready to roll in this year’s Tour de OROC, the marathon bike ride across the Far West to raise funds for Macquarie Homestay at Dubbo.

Bourke Shire Council and Bourke Rotary have been amongst the charity ride’s staunch supporters.

Both organisations are putting the final touches to associated fund-raising events and putting out the welcome mat for the cyclists when they stay overnight in Bourke next Wednesday 9th October – less than a week away.

Council General Manager Ross Earl is on the Tour de OROC organising committee and has been heavily involved in the arrangements for the riders’ arrival in Bourke.
